About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Settle bond and bank loan trades
- Invest excess cash as directed by the Portfolio Manager
- Book all cash inflows and outflows to the portfolio
- Track asset attributes such as accrual information, ratings, and industry codes
- Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly client reports
- Support Analysts with investor reporting
- Ensure data accuracy and timeliness through proper booking, reconciliation, and resolution of exceptions
- Work within U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services and the Collateralized Loan Obligation Group
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Typically less than two years of relevant work experience
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Basic understanding of indenture documentation and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and clients simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret data and resolve discrepancies
- High stress tolerance and resilience in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong computer navigation skills across Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
- Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship and does not support STEM OPT
