About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop high-quality, customized responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and other client-facing materials under tight deadlines
  • Create presentations, due diligence materials, and other ad hoc documents for prospective and existing clients
  • Support business development officers (BDOs) and relationship managers (RMs) in the acquisition and retention of institutional investment management business
  • Partner with BDOs, RMs, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams across U.S. Bank
  • Manage multiple projects independently and adhere to detailed client specifications
  • Deliver high-quality work within turnaround times ranging from one day to a few weeks
  • Contribute to broader sales enablement and strategic business development initiatives across the firm

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of business writing experience in sales support, proposal generation, marketing, communications, publishing or print media
  • Financial services experience, preferably within asset management, investment management, or institutional investing
  • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of complex products, investment strategies, and technical concepts and communicate them clearly and accurately
  • Strong interviewing and communication skills, with the ability to engage subject matter experts and gather information needed to address client requirements
  • Experience developing customized proposals, presentations, and other sales support materials
  • Proficiency with proposal management platforms and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a strong eye for detail, formatting, and presentation quality
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams while maintaining ownership and accountability for deliverables
