About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain automation capabilities within the homegrown Assisted Manual Test Tool (AMTT) platform for iOS, Android, and payment solution testing
- Build automated test solutions for functional, integration, regression, stress, and scalability testing
- Develop and enhance in-house testing platforms to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Support reliable and repeatable testing across multiple product releases and environments
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, reliability issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Analyze application stability, including crashes, memory leaks, CPU utilization, and resource consumption issues
- Generate quality metrics, root cause analyses, and actionable recommendations to improve system performance, scalability, and product quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to nine years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating complex processes
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship
- Strong experience in QA Automation, Software Engineering, SDET, or Quality Engineering roles
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, Python, C#, or C/C++
- Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks, test tooling, or mobile application test solutions
- Experience testing mobile applications, APIs, distributed systems, and backend services
- Strong knowledge of Git, source control practices, and modern software development methodologies
- Experience implementing and supporting automated testing within CI/CD environments
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance engineering skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities within Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise automation platforms or in-house test frameworks
- Background in financial services, payment processing, POS systems, or transaction-based applications
- Knowledge of EMV transaction processing and card-present payment technologies
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks and release qualification testing
- Experience supporting large-scale regression testing across multiple product releases
- Must comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
