About the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Required NMLS registration process includes a criminal background and credit check
  • Must meet and maintain NMLS registration requirements, including a satisfactory criminal and credit record
  • Bilingual ability to read, write, and speak in business-level proficiency of Spanish, Russian, or Hindi and English preferred
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to identify customers’ needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
  • Demonstrated basic proficiency in making appropriate customer recommendations
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
