About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development of the enterprise Balance Sheet, Net Interest Income (NII), and Net Interest Margin (NIM) outlook
  • Integrate input from Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Business Line Finance into a consolidated view of expected financial performance
  • Govern forecasting and deliver executive reporting
  • Ensure leadership understands key drivers, assumptions, risks, and opportunities impacting financial results
  • Provide independent analysis and constructive challenge to forecast outcomes
  • Identify emerging trends affecting balance sheet performance and profitability
  • Support senior management and committee discussions with clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Lead a high-performing team
  • Build cross-functional partnerships
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes
  • Coordinate stakeholders and deliver timely, accurate, actionable insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Asset Liability Management (ALM) and/or Interest Rate Risk (IRR) experience
  • Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 13+ years of relevant financial management experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership and management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and finance principles
  • Advanced planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and executives
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Must be able to work from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
  • Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
