About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of Direct Sales Representatives within North Carolina or South Carolina
  • Manage direct sales activities for assigned products and services within a designated geographic region or industry segment
  • Lead self-generated business development through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound activities
  • Develop revenue, volume, and market share objectives
  • Establish and achieve sales and budget goals
  • Execute marketing strategies for products and services
  • Build and maintain profitable customer relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel
  • Advanced knowledge of sales and sales strategies
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
  • Effective customer service/relations skills
  • Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
  • Ability to make important decisions independently
