About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a digital sales team of 12 as the single, accountable revenue owner
  • Engage and respond to digital customer sales inquiries via inbound call, web, and chat
  • Drive customer interactions to successful sales outcomes and booked accounts
  • Own the full funnel from first inquiry through booked account
  • Explore and adopt new tools and technology to improve responsiveness and sales pace
  • Set clear sales goals and hold the team accountable to outcomes
  • Coach and develop the team through enablement, playbooks, and structured feedback
  • Ensure seamless handoffs between digital and human touchpoints across the customer journey
  • Build culture, operating rhythms, and standards driving consistent sales excellence
  • Develop and maintain profitable customer relationships supporting retention and growth
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
  • Measure booked accounts, revenue, inbound conversion, and team responsiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically three or more years of sales management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of sales strategies and new business development
  • Experience leading combined sales and support functions
  • Knowledge of banking products, operations, and current market trends
  • Comfort adopting new tools and technology to improve sales and service
  • Strong coaching skills, leadership presence, and a growth mindset
  • Effective verbal and written communication and customer-relations skills
  • Strong ownership and cross-functional partnership; makes sound decisions independently
  • Proven people-leadership experience managing sales and/or customer-support teams
  • Demonstrated track record of owning revenue targets and delivering measurable results
  • Experience in digital, virtual, or inside sales and inbound demand conversion
  • Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
