About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute toward the success of U.S. Bank's technology initiatives
  • Define requirements and functional architecture
  • Participate in testing, training, and implementation of applications
  • Assist business lines with requirements and work with application development teams to create functional architecture
  • Develop and maintain detailed functional knowledge of current business technology and infrastructure
  • Provide guidance concerning business implications of development projects
  • Consult with internal business groups on process improvement projects
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify, refine, and document detailed business needs
  • Lead or assist clients and technical staff in investigating, analyzing, and resolving application problems
  • Serve as a first point of contact for user support and problem solving
  • Manage routine projects when needed
  • Interface with business lines, management, and internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of project/release work
  • Work with technology and application development teams to design or select solutions for large projects
  • Review and validate test plan approaches for proper functionality coverage
  • Coordinate and execute test plans
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 6 years experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications
  • Experience working with CRMs, preferably Salesforce
  • Comprehensive knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for mortgage lending
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders
  • Advanced understanding of Agile project management and testing methodology and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
  • Advanced understanding of rules-based workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work as part of a project team
  • Effective verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment
  • Experience with Agile Project Management Software Tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Inspired self-starter with the ability to take the lead on assigned projects
  • Opened-minded, flexible person who can adapt to suddenly changing objectives/priorities
  • Workflow analysis
  • Experience with Agentforce and Data-360
