About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, local government investment pools, and closed-end funds of varying complexity
  • Produce end-of-day net asset value calculations
  • Prepare daily general ledger accounting
  • Perform prime broker/bank cash reconciliations
  • Process advisor/portfolio management activities
  • Apply corporate actions
  • Post expense accruals and payments
  • Determine daily net asset values and mill rates
  • Perform portfolio pricing analysis and validations
  • Distribute timely internal and external information
  • Perform portfolio reconciliations
  • Partner with internal and external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers/custodian relationships
  • Collaborate on compliance, audits, and financials
  • Ensure Fund Accounting functions comply with SEC regulations and GAAP principles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Three or more years of experience in accounting or finance activities
  • Prior Fund Accounting Experience with knowledge of Mutual Funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Derivatives, Bonds, Etc.
  • Ability to communicate and research information with clients, for audits, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
