About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain installed infrastructure technologies
Install and configure infrastructure technologies within a specific area
Develop infrastructure as code, programming, and scripting solutions across multi-cloud environments
Develop design and functional specifications
Produce deliverables related to specific projects
Assist with post-implementation support and system enhancements
Create on-premises and public cloud systems for communication, sharing, storage, and backup of data
Support big-data analysis
Provision, manage, monitor, and decommission cloud services
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management in distributed environments through scripting
Configure and maintain physical and logical network components

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to six years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience developing automation, tooling, or platform services supporting API or middleware workloads using Python
Proven experience building and maintaining Ansible roles/playbooks for middleware, API platforms, or supporting infrastructure
Strong experience with open source automation tools and infrastructure-as-code approaches, such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Git-based workflows
Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for middleware, APIs, or shared platforms
Hands-on experience supporting virtualized, cloud, and containerized infrastructure, particularly for always-on, latency-sensitive API workloads
Solid understanding of networking concepts relevant to APIs and middleware, including load balancing, ingress/egress, TLS, and service-to-service communication
Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
