About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support loans, inquiries, and client-satisfaction items while working with Healthcare Relationship Managers and Practice Finance Business Development Officers
- Support sales teams in executing a One Bank strategy and growing market share
- Retain and deepen client relationships by providing knowledgeable, timely, and professional client support
- Review loan approvals and loan documents prepared by internal teams and outside counsel
- Ensure borrowers and lenders pay all fees and set up escrow when needed
- Collect required client documentation based on loan conditions and monitor closing documentation requirements
- Build client relationships and manage expectations for documentation and timing throughout the loan closing process
- Ensure compliance with loan requirements, regulatory requirements, and approval conditions
- Identify due diligence issues and work with others to find solutions
- Communicate with title and closing agents, outside counsel, borrowers, and others to ensure accurate documentation
- Collaborate on and implement new-hire and continuing-education methodology and resources for the Loan Closing team
- Maintain a pipeline of 12–16 loans and close 5–7 per month
- Handle complex, advanced loan types
- Mentor the team and maintain the Healthcare Lending playbook
- Own and maintain training components for the closing team
- Create and maintain training with partners, implement continuing education, and onboard new closers
- Stay updated on enhancements and upcoming items for the closing team
- Organize special projects advancing Healthcare and the closing team
- Train and upskill closers in management-identified areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically eight or more years of job-related experience
- Experience working with closing commercial loans for the healthcare industry
- Considerable knowledge of departmental and bank products and services
- Proven customer service and problem resolution skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using nCino, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Three or more years of previous real estate loan administration experience or real estate paralegal experience
- Experience in receiving and implementing performance feedback and coaching
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience deepening relationships over the phone with clients
- Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
- Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
