About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a team of Small Business Specialists within an assigned geography

  • Lead sales activities focused on the One Bank strategy and growing market share
  • Partner with branch banking stakeholders to develop, communicate, and implement sales strategies
  • Meet or exceed business objectives
  • Foster a customer-obsessed team culture
  • Oversee relationship management, business development activities, and related risk
  • Travel 60–70% and drive at least two hours per week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically four or more years of sales management experience
  • Strong relationship management, sales management, coaching, and new business development abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of Small Business Banking products and services, industry types, operating cycles, and business financials
  • Effective recruiting and talent building skills
  • High level of expertise in customer communication and presentation skills
  • Previous sales leadership experience
  • Previous remote and multi-site management experience preferred
  • Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location five days per week
  • Ability to drive two or more hours per week
  • Expected travel of 60–70%
  • Must comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Must comply with applicable employment eligibility verification and background check requirements
