About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, clients, relationship managers, product partners, and operational teams
  • Lead executive engagement routines, governance forums, strategic reporting, and service-level agreement oversight
  • Coordinate the identification, escalation, tracking, and resolution of complex custody-related issues
  • Translate client feedback, market developments, and operational challenges into strategic initiatives, product enhancements, and measurable business outcomes
  • Provide custody market expertise through client presentations, business reviews, industry analysis, and strategic consultations
  • Partner with business development and relationship management teams to support client retention, growth opportunities, and complex client needs
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives involving Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Compliance
  • Help internal teams and clients prepare for regulatory, market, and operational changes
  • Represent the organization with clients, investment managers, sub-custodians, fintech providers, and industry participants
  • Influence enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic priorities
  • Partner with executive leadership across multiple business lines
  • Drive meaningful change in a complex, highly visible environment
  • Support major institutional clients and sophisticated market participants
  • Serve as a recognized subject matter expert and industry ambassador

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in Global Custody, Asset Servicing, Corporate Trust, Institutional Banking, Operations, Client Service, Business Engagement, Relationship Management, or related financial services functions
  • Direct experience within Global Custody Services, Asset Servicing, Securities Processing, Institutional Trust & Custody, or Corporate Trust
  • Strong network within the institutional custody and asset servicing industry
  • Experience supporting strategic growth initiatives, client retention efforts, and business development activities
  • Proven ability to influence operating models, product strategies, and client service frameworks across a large financial institution
  • Deep understanding of global custody services, asset servicing, securities processing, cash correspondent banking, and complex asset administration
  • Experience supporting institutional and wealth-focused business lines within a large financial institution
  • Proven ability to build executive-level partnerships and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and driving results without direct authority
  • Expertise in issue management, governance, service delivery, and operational improvement
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Must work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
