About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, expand, and retain Payment business, including Merchant, Treasury Management, and Card products
  • Conduct outside sales and proactive prospecting focused on acquiring new business clients
  • Provide consultative advice on business cash conversion cycle, working capital management, and internal processes
  • Manage existing client relationships with Business Banking Relationship Managers
  • Conduct receivables and payables business operating cycle analyses
  • Provide consultative feedback and product/service recommendations
  • Leverage resources and technologies to optimize client experience and operational accuracy
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales, revenue, and retention objectives
  • Assist in structuring new or modified Payment services and oversee implementation
  • Build relationships in the community and engage with local organizations
  • Identify business development opportunities and ways for U.S. Bank to support local communities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of related experience in Treasury Management sales
  • Bilingual ability to read, write, and speak in business-level proficiency of Spanish language and English
  • Proven sales, prospecting and new business development skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management and Payments
  • Strong client service and relationship skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to teach customers how to use digital technology
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Certain positions may be subject to FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and/or federal guidelines
