About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive innovative solutions and capabilities across engage and retain portions of the consumer card experience
  • Articulate customer insights and market trends
  • Make data-driven decisions
  • Develop solutions across multiple platforms, partners, and products
  • Drive innovative experiences to improve market position, customer satisfaction, and engagement
  • Lead initiatives across Retail Payment Solutions, including debit and credit card businesses, U.S. Bank Brand, Elan agent FI business, and co-brand/partner businesses
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for critical strategic initiatives relating to card experience
  • Provide leadership for critical cross-business initiatives
  • Partner with PCS Operations teams to deliver innovative, customer-focused improvements
  • Define CX strategy for critical customer journeys
  • Design, test, and iterate improvement initiatives
  • Develop and lead a multifaceted growth strategy balancing customer focus, innovation, and profitability
  • Serve as a thought leader on consumer insights and competitive trends related to card engagement
  • Drive strategy in partnership with lines of business and operations
  • Help drive PCS digital experience investments, priorities, and results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 or more years of experience in Customer Experience, Customer Insights or a related field
  • Masters Degree or equivalent
  • Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Credit Card product experience
  • Increasing card management, product management, and product development responsibility
  • Demonstrated creative thinking and innovation in the financial services space
  • Credit card partnership experience in the retail co-brand space is highly valued
  • Highly polished written and oral presentation skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
