About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle all inbound and outbound patient, physician, and physician advocate communications professionally and within program guidelines
  • Accurately enter eligibility paperwork and other information into the system
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of applications, mailers, orders, enrollment forms, new patients, inquiries, and system records
  • Perform specialized functions for each program accurately
  • Assist department leads/supervisors in developing employees and answering questions
  • Enter and interpret program materials to determine enrollment criteria
  • Explain program requirements to callers and other employees
  • Place outbound calls to clarify issues involving program guidelines
  • Manage communications and eligibility applications based on daily operational needs and program volume

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency with personal computers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule to cover peak times
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment quickly
  • Ability to learn quickly, maintain accurate information, and follow direction
  • Ability to adapt to new situations that may arise due to program changes
  • Pharmacy Tech license as needed for specific programs
  • Shift coverage between 9am–6pm EST as needed
