About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting and alteration projects
- Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems
- Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks
- Inspect and test fire protection systems
- Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities
- Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork
- Help maintain Uline's new building in Plainfield as a beautiful place to work
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry
- Skilled in troubleshooting and completing projects in a timely manner
- Ability to lift and / or move up to 70 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- All new hires must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening
