About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee operations of Uline’s Washington branch, including Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, HR, IT and Facilities departments
  • Supervise branch departments to consistently ensure impeccable customer service
  • Ensure the 1-million-square-foot distribution center grounds exceed company standards
  • Support recruitment and retention of top-tier talent and assist with employee relations
  • Provide hands-on senior management and drive accountability through performance feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience in operations or general management
  • Experience supervising personnel
  • Warehouse, call center and/or sales experience is a plus
  • Limited overnight travel
  • All new hires must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening
  • This role is considered safety sensitive for drug testing purposes
