About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and accurate financial reporting
Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigate discrepancies, and ensure reporting accuracy
Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual corporate tax filings
Oversee the payroll process for Uline’s Canada operations, ensuring accurate processing, thorough audits, and compliance
Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting workflows and internal controls
Partner with teams across Uline on financial analysis, reporting, and business insights that support informed decisions
Collaborate closely across accounting teams while managing core financial processes at the Milton facility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA designation
7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday is a plus
Excellent communication and ability to collaborate and influence across teams
