Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop and modernize large-scale web applications
  • Influence architecture and technical direction for Uline.com
  • Contribute to project planning, architecture discussions and code reviews
  • Support complex initiatives from planning through delivery
  • Partner with teams across Uline to improve application performance
  • Deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience
  • Mentor and coach developers
  • Provide technical guidance and help resolve engineering challenges
  • Explore and apply AI-powered solutions and emerging technologies, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI and vector search
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with teams across Uline to improve the customer experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience developing web or eCommerce applications using .NET, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch or Dynatrace, or data integration tools such as NiFi preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, technical leadership and collaboration skills
  • Must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening
  • Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery
