About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic analysis of transportation and operational data to identify trends, shape initiatives, and drive efficiency across a large LTL shipping network
- Partner with organizational leaders to optimize logistics operations and enhance vendor partnerships
- Strengthen relationships with key freight carriers and leaders across Uline’s North American locations
- Drive high-impact projects and provide insights and recommendations to executive leaders
- Promote operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high performance
- Lead a corporate logistics team of 50+ professionals
- Shape transportation network strategy and support next-day delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 20+ years of leadership experience in complex, large-scale logistics operations
- Expertise in all transportation modes; outbound LTL expertise a plus
- Proven ability to leverage complex data to inform strategy and decisions
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening
- Must work on-site
