About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source and hire select technology professionals
- Strategize and execute recruiting activities to identify and fill job openings
- Interview candidates and maintain a database of candidates and applications
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT Team Leaders to determine hiring needs and roles
- Coordinate with team leaders to forecast business and department goals and hiring needs
- Recommend creative strategies to attract talent from across the country
- Create job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards such as Jobstreet, Mynimo, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Source potential candidates through job postings and other channels
- Craft and send personalized recruiting correspondence to passive and active candidates
- Identify and assess candidates through resume reviews, interviews, and other communications
- Maintain candidate contact and provide application-status updates
- Perform background and reference checks
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in overall recruitment process and platforms
- Bachelor’s degree of human resources or related degree
- A good understanding of technology and technical skills
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for Tech roles
- Solid understanding of HR practices
- Good interpersonal skills and decision making skills
- Experienced in sourcing Software Engineers (Flutter, React, React-Native, DevOps, Java, Node.js, Swift, Kotlin), UI/UX Designers, IT Business Analysts, IT Project Managers, and Product Quality Engineers (Test Automation or Manual QA Engineers)
- Knowledgeable with non-technical roles
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled agile framework
- Dependable, self-starter, and collaborative with the team and client
