About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead QA efforts for mobile application delivery across ERP, CRM, and asset management applications
Oversee manual and automation test strategy, plans, processes, and execution
Define and evolve automation, regression, performance, and release testing strategies within AI PDLC processes
Architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for mobile applications, web applications, and REST APIs
Write and review automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
Develop and execute automated mobile UI, integration, and regression test suites
Own and prioritize the mobile QA backlog, including automation coverage, technical debt, and infrastructure testing initiatives
Serve as a QA escalation point, managing risk, prioritizing coverage, and ensuring release readiness
Troubleshoot complex defects through log and system behavior analysis; drive root-cause analysis and long-term quality improvements
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Leadership on acceptance criteria, quality standards, and test requirements
Aid in manual testing while evolving automation coverage
Champion quality engineering best practices, testability, and maintainable code design
Mentor and develop QA Engineers on automation frameworks, tools, and testing methodologies
Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and building a scalable QA practice
In the first 60 days, define and execute comprehensive QA test plans and perform exploratory testing
In the first 90 days, contribute to testing strategy and inform future deliveries

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in B2B SaaS or other complex business software
3+ years of iOS and Android testing for enterprise-level mobile applications
3+ years of test automation experience, including BrowserStack, Appium, Playwright, or Detox
1+ years of experience leading a team
Depth of experience writing test cases and enabling automation strategies
Strong prioritization and time management skills
Strong understanding of test methodologies, test case coverage analysis, and hardening and exploration strategies
Experience with mobile application testing, including Appium or Maestro
Experience with API testing, including Postman, Python, or SmartBear
Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar experience
Prior experience with AI-enabled QA technologies preferred
