About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and nurture multiple account relationships with Catholic parishes across the United States
  • Serve as a contact for assigned Catholic parishes
  • Plan and coordinate outreach efforts, value-added offerings, and key events at Catholic parishes
  • Understand parish needs and ensure value and excellence in each experience
  • Collaborate with channel leaders to schedule and customize offerings and impactful experiences
  • Develop expertise in assigned markets, monitor emerging trends, proactively address opportunities, and troubleshoot account-specific issues
  • Strategically reach out to parishes and document communications and results
  • Execute outreach through mail, phone, email, and in-person meetings while documenting and monitoring progress in applicable systems and tools
  • Build rapport and trust with integrity, transparency, and commitment to excellence
  • Use a consultative selling approach and customize offerings
  • Secure and schedule pastor-led appeals and other appeals for Unbound representatives
  • Coordinate account-specific plans and tactics with channel leaders, outreach team members, marketing, and operations
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide responsive follow-up
  • Improve sales processes and refine prospecting and outreach strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in marketing, communication or public relations or related experience
  • 1 year of experience in inside sales, customer service, relationship management, or business-to-business marketing
  • Comfort working with Roman Catholic parishes, clergy and parish staff, along with familiarity and respect for Catholic communities, hierarchy, practices, and teachings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for networking, relationship building, and troubleshooting issues
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, respond quickly to changing priorities, and adapt within a fast-paced environment
  • Technical aptitude using customer relationship management (CRM) tools, virtual communication and teleconferencing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate over the phone and through written communication in Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally occasionally
  • Ability to travel and represent Unbound at regional and national conferences (1–3 per year)
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to fifty (50) pounds if necessary
