About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, target, and secure new grower accounts through high-volume prospecting, cold calling, networking, and direct outreach
- Build and execute a results-driven sales plan for the territory
- Grow the customer base and expand market presence
- Meet with prospective growers on-site and virtually
- Understand grower operations and uncover pain points
- Present tailored solutions
- Deliver presentations and proposals
- Negotiate and close new business
- Drive sustainable revenue growth
- Represent UnCommon Farms at trade shows and industry events
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding for new clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of sales experience in agribusiness, farm operations, agronomy, or a related field
- Proven track record in high-volume sales, lead generation, and business development
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to deliver persuasive, impactful presentations
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
