About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement new configurations and customizations of the ServiceNow platform.
Analyze and advise on requests for implementing new ServiceNow functionalities.
Test and validate proposed changes.
Write and implement code on the ServiceNow platform.
Perform application and code reviews to ensure system integrity.
Manage and maintain the ServiceNow instance, including binaries, configuration, keystores, Tomcat, Java, local backups, and performance tuning, ensuring functionality and security compliance.
Keep ServiceNow up to date, upgrade it, and apply application patches.
Manage and maintain MariaDB database files and services used by ServiceNow.
Analyze and resolve application-related incidents and perform bug fixes.
Provide recommendations on business requirements and contribute to technical designs.
Maintain current solution documentation, including technical documentation, SOPs, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of IT relevant professional experience with minimum 2 years in a similar position.
Excellent practical hands-on experience administering and maintaining ServiceNow platform (experience with on-prem will be advantageous).
Excellent practical hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow platform (ITSM and others).
Practical hands-on experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions.
Excellent practical hands-on experience with requirements gathering, analysis and project management.
Excellent practical knowledge of ServiceNow products portfolio.
Excellent practical knowledge of Service Management.
Experience in creating SOPs and other technical documentation.
Knowledge of key technologies for ServiceNow integration (Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST, etc.).
Well understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability.
Knowledge of IT security standards.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certificate and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate are required.
Very good command of spoken and written English (B2).
