About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide compliance advice and support within specific functions, departments, or product areas
  • Address compliance considerations such as commercial contracts, licensing, privacy, data management, safety, and security
  • Perform legislative and policy research and advise internal teams
  • Work with functional and operational teams to ensure understanding of and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with RFP response review, third-party due diligence, and other compliance activities
  • Liaise with state, local, and other authorities to file documentation, ascertain approvals, and request information and opinions
  • Work with product, sales, marketing, and other teams to identify, understand, and address operational risks
  • Develop risk-specific mitigation strategies and support implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree and 2–4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to provide compliance advice and support within specific functions, departments, or product areas
  • Knowledge of compliance considerations including commercial contracts, licensing, privacy, data management, safety, and security
  • Ability to perform legislative and policy research
  • Ability to ensure adherence to applicable policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to review RFP responses and perform third-party due diligence or other compliance activities
  • Ability to liaise with state, local, and other authorities
  • Ability to identify and address operational business risks
  • Ability to develop risk-specific mitigation strategies
  • Ability to work without barriers protected by applicable law
