About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the functionality and efficiency of Storage, including Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage
- Deliver second- and third-level remote support services to resolve enterprise systems, networks, and application software problems
- Serve as the L3 support expert for L1 and L2 teams and support issue resolution and escalations across assigned client deliveries
- Identify and automate regular storage support routines based on client and infrastructure requirements
- Perform storage administration and monitor, maintain, and update storage devices
- Perform daily checks, analyze logs, tune storage array and device performance, and ensure required backups for recovery scenarios
- Investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and define proactive service improvement plans
- Execute incident, change, and problem management in line with ITIL standards
- Review and approve infrastructure change requests, deliver complex infrastructure changes, and perform impact analysis in the ITSM tool
- Prepare, approve, and coordinate technical documentation and ensure documentation is current and complete
- Suggest, develop, and conduct user, technical, and orientation training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Must have 7 years of experience in the job offered
- Must have 7 years of domain work experience related to Storage, including administration, architecting, configuration, security, failover, backup, and optimization of Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage systems
- Must have 7 years of work experience with Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage, Brocade, Cisco MDS SAN, Dell EMC Storage, Unity, PowerMax, Recover Point, and Powerstore
- Applicant should be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations for access to export-controlled commodities and technology
