About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide functional and technical support for Oracle HRMS, UK Payroll, SSHR, OTL, and related modules
- Handle UK Payroll processing and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including PAYE, NI, pensions, RTI submissions, and P60/P45 year-end activities
- Perform element configuration, fast formula development, retro-pay setup, and statutory balance adjustments
- Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot WebADI templates for bulk data uploads
- Work on OAF customizations and personalizations, including UI extensions
- Write, debug, and optimize PL/SQL queries, procedures, and APIs supporting payroll and HR processes
- Manage and enhance timecard setups, OTL approval workflows, and business rules
- Support patching, cloning, environment refreshes, SIT, UAT, and production cutovers
- Coordinate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements, provide solutions, and implement changes
- Maintain documentation, solution records, and user guides for internal teams and audits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience with Oracle EBS (R12) in HRMS, UK Payroll, SSHR, and OTL
- Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL development, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Deep functional understanding of UK Payroll processes and legislative compliance
- Hands-on experience with WebADI development and maintenance
- Knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for customizations and enhancements
- Familiarity with Oracle Workflow Builder, AME, and user/role management
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
