About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide sales and administrative assistance to Commercial Relationship Managers and other partners
  • Support new and renewed loan production by collecting, ordering, and tracking information required for risk assessment and underwriting
  • Prepare written communications including commitment letters, term sheets, and thank-you notes
  • Complete the Credit Lens Loan Worksheet and engage the Commercial Loan Closer
  • Monitor reporting and identify required actions for maturities, auto-renew letters of credit, insurance, and real estate taxes
  • Provide service and respond to internal and external customer requests
  • Collect customer financial statements and load them to Credit Lens
  • Collaborate with relationship managers, loan closers, underwriters, document preparation, and outside counsel on loan closings
  • Collect executed documents and submit them
  • Submit customer maintenance requests to Loan Operations
  • Transfer and assign notes
  • Facilitate ongoing disbursement requests with Construction Administration
  • Complete assigned post-close tasks in Credit Lens
  • Manage WIP files
  • Resolve critical and material exceptions
  • Assist, mentor, and train other Commercial Loan Officer Assistants
  • Participate in required compliance and training programs
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures
  • Provide professional, urgent, and positive service to internal and external customers
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of credit or customer service experience in the financial services industry
  • Commercial loan experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills without direct guidance
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines
  • Schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Up to 10% travel
