About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day activities in Syndicated Servicing and/or perform complex, critical functions and tasks
- Assist the manager in coordinating and prioritizing daily Syndicated Servicing activities
- Resolve procedural and technical issues
- Perform complex administrative tasks supporting a Loan Operations team
- Gather, interpret, and transcribe complex information and files for loan boarding packages
- Review loan approval forms, appraisals, title work, insurance, and collateral documentation
- Process complex and non-standard boarding requests
- Perform Quality Assurance reviews
- Complete complex loan research and maintenance requests
- Assist Account Officers with loan booking and maintenance questions
- Respond to requests and issues accurately and promptly
- Meet established production and quality metrics
- Assist with training-needs assessments and maintain procedure manuals
- Engage with Change Management to address identified gaps and training needs
- Participate in monthly one-on-ones with managers
- Train other employees within the department as needed
- Assist with pre- and post-conversion activities
- Create and update policies and procedures
- Provide service to internal and external clients with urgency and a positive attitude
- Balance competing priorities and make sound business decisions within standard policy
- Adhere to Corporate and Loan Operations policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- College Degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience; 5+ years preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrable knowledge of retail loan documentation requirements
- Basic knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
- Basic knowledge performing quality assurance reviews of various loan operations functions
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to balance competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines
- Advanced analytical, administrative, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and organization skills
- Professionalism and alignment with the bank’s vision, mission, and culture
- Ability to solve problems without direct guidance and assist others with problem solving
- Must pass a criminal background and credit check
- Minimum one year of experience in Loan Operations, Loan Processing, or Loan Administration preferred
- Ability to work in a professional office environment using standard office equipment
- Ability to perform sedentary work, climbing, standing, stooping, or typing
- Position requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- May require up to 25% travel
