About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and oversee employee training programs to enhance workforce performance, support career development, and align with organizational goals
  • Partner with leadership across departments and with external partners and educational institutions
  • Assess training needs and develop learning strategies
  • Measure training program effectiveness
  • Manage, coordinate, and lead clinical and non-clinical training placements across the agency
  • Lead the overhaul of the Performance Evaluation and Goal Form Program for all employees and management
  • Develop and implement workforce development initiatives
  • Build stakeholder committees to support UCFS trainings and provide information and feedback on new opportunities
  • Identify training needs and skill gaps through needs assessment surveys, interviews, and research
  • Create microlearning experiences across the organization
  • Establish and cultivate subject matter experts across the organization
  • Implement training programs, including promotion, scheduling, and coordination
  • Build evaluation and review systems
  • Train employees on performance management processes to ensure consistent application of UCFS Healthcare standards and expectations
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making real-time adjustments for continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Public Health, Education, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience designing and delivering training programs to diverse audiences across multiple specialties and departments
  • Minimum of three years of experience managing direct reports, with a demonstrated track record of driving performance improvement, organizational effectiveness, and cultural transformation
  • Project Management, Lean, or Six Sigma training/certification required
  • Expertise in developing and delivering professional training programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills, including managing deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining timely communication
  • Adaptability and ability to build rapport quickly while fostering strong professional relationships
  • Proven project management expertise with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and direction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
