About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-level customer service support for Microsoft Office, customer-specific software applications, laptops, desktops, and mobile phones
- Identify and document customer issues clearly and accurately
- Escalate unresolved tickets to appropriate internal teams as needed
- Accurately document every call
- Deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication, patience, and empathy
- Assist patients with healthcare portals, scheduling, account access, and other non-clinical needs
- Guide patients through healthcare applications so they can access care and information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be available Monday through Friday and/or weekends, with shifts scheduled between 6 AM and 9 PM MST
- Must reside in New Mexico, Texas, or Arizona
- High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Must have a hard-wired connection to the router
- Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role
- Previous call center experience
- Basic knowledge of PC operations and desktop applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in challenging situations
- Adaptability and self-motivation in a remote work setting
- Strong customer empathy, patience, and commitment to high-quality service
- Satellite internet is not supported
- Preferred but not required: Experience with My Pres and MyChart
- Preferred but not required: Familiarity with medical terminology
- Preferred but not required: Experience working in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Must complete a Speedtest by Ookla test and submit upload/download speed screenshot
- PC must be connected to the router using an Ethernet connection
