About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze revenue cycle workflows, performance data, and technology utilization to identify automation, standardization, and optimization opportunities
  • Conduct current-state assessments and develop future-state workflows incorporating automation, AI, analytics, and existing technology capabilities
  • Gather, document, and translate operational requirements into functional and technology requirements
  • Support design, configuration, testing, implementation, and optimization of technology-enabled solutions
  • Analyze operational and financial data to establish baselines, identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and measure results
  • Develop dashboards, reports, analyses, and tools to monitor initiative performance and benefit realization
  • Partner with operational leaders, informaticists, technology teams, vendors, and subject matter experts throughout implementation
  • Improve utilization of existing Epic functionality and other enterprise technology
  • Support evaluation and implementation of artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, analytics, workflow technologies, and emerging capabilities
  • Develop process documentation, requirements, test scripts, standard operating procedures, training materials, and implementation tools
  • Support project management activities including work plans, issue tracking, risk identification, status reporting, and implementation readiness
  • Apply structured problem-solving and process-improvement methodologies to complex operational challenges
  • Perform other assigned duties and comply with organizational policies and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, healthcare technology, analytics, consulting, process improvement, or related fields (Required)
  • Current Epic Certification in a revenue cycle application (Required)
  • Experience analyzing complex business processes, data, and technology-enabled workflows (Required)
  • Experience supporting technology implementations, optimization initiatives, or operational improvement projects (Required)
  • Experience in a large health system or complex healthcare environment preferred (marked Required in posting)
  • Epic revenue cycle, automation, AI, analytics, or healthcare information technology experience preferred (marked Required in posting)
  • Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and associated workflows and performance measures
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, process-mapping, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology, workflow automation, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies
  • Ability to translate operational needs into structured requirements and technology-enabled solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, organization, and project-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across operational and technology teams
  • Must safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) and comply with applicable training, code of conduct, policies, and procedures
