About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage quality measurement and improvement, evaluation, and implementation projects
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy Leadership to develop project methodologies and manage project and implementation plan components
  • Develop, coordinate, and lead activities including regulatory matters, protocol writing, operations manuals, and data collection
  • Manage regulatory requirements as needed
  • Facilitate projects across University Hospitals departments and coordinate work across departments
  • Communicate project status to leadership in a timely and concise manner
  • Lead primary data collection and oversee compilation and analysis of secondary datasets
  • Support projects requiring interdepartmental and external resources
  • Manage and report project timelines and deadlines
  • Manage engagements with external customers and health-system-related vendors
  • Coordinate activities with UHHS colleagues and project collaborators
  • Lead and mentor Project Coordinators and provide education for team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with organizational policies, standards, and PHI requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or similar field (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting (Required)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities on a deadline (Required)
  • Project management experience (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office products and internet applications
  • Regulatory experience achieving IRB approval for studies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Must safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • 5% local travel to UH sites
