About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide business services support to the Senior Assistant Dean for Student Success and Student Success units
  • Handle end-to-end contract and procurement processes
  • Track data for reporting and other needs
  • Manage end-to-end travel processes
  • Process, track, and report on accounts receivable
  • Provide operational support
  • Facilitate timely execution of contracts, procurement, invoicing, travel arrangements, and other business operations functions
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance
  • Create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma
  • At least one year of specialized training in business management or a related field
  • Experience using financial and administrative software, such as Workday Financial, or comparable systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications—Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Knowledge and application of customer service techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with co-workers, vendors and other stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Ability to apply policies and procedures and other applicable regulations associated with assigned department or program
  • Ability to treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Required cover letter/letter of application, resume, and list of three professional references
  • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Must complete a criminal background check and sex offender registry check
