About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support for the Department of Pediatrics Primary Care and Clinical Informatics sections
- Coordinate office activities with the Office Manager and professional staff across various units
- Submit clinic modifications to ACH to update physician schedules and maintain tracking spreadsheets
- Gather credentialing information for Primary Care and Clinical Informatics faculty
- Update Primary Care and Clinical Informatics profiles on the UAMS website
- Assist with travel preparation, expense reimbursements, and general purchasing
- Update and track IT inventory
- Handle daily office operations, including mail, faxes, filing, copier readings, eFund reports, IT/maintenance tickets, workspace optimization, and kitchen supplies
- Request department security access privileges for software and shared drives/folders
- Escort candidates/students across campus
- Set up conference rooms and coordinate meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of experience in general administrative office support, or Associate's degree plus four (4) years of experience in general administrative office support, or High School Diploma/GED plus six (6) years of experience in general administrative office support required
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure
- Ability to work independently and interdependently within a team
- Ability to handle sensitive company, financial, and personnel records with strict confidentiality and integrity
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and calendar management
- Sponsorship is not available
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Three professional references required
