About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the administrative needs of the Integrated Medicine and Cardiovascular Service Lines in conjunction with service line leadership
  • Develop and maintain clinic scheduling templates in Epic
  • Coordinate schedule changes, including rescheduling and release of OR and Lab time
  • Develop and maintain decision trees, diagnosis matrices, and scheduling criteria for service-line providers
  • Work closely with IT to build and maintain accurate Epic templates and decision trees
  • Provide technical and customer support to providers and access staff using Epic scheduling templates
  • Meet with providers and access staff to review templates and recommend schedule optimization
  • Monitor clinic schedules and coordinate with clinic and appointment center access staff
  • Prepare and analyze reports
  • Assist with coordinating daily service-line operations
  • Perform assigned related responsibilities and projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors Degree in a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in program administration OR a High School Diploma plus six (6) years program administration
  • Experience in a medical office setting (preferred)
  • Experience working with Epic Cadence and QGenda (preferred)
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Attend Epic training and pass applicable testing within one year of employment
  • Ability to prepare reports and analyze data
  • Working knowledge of data processing equipment and applications
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
