About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for adults with benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck
  • Evaluate and manage patients with benign and malignant diseases of the head and neck
  • Perform head and neck surgical procedures consistent with training, experience, and clinical privileges
  • Collaborate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, speech pathology, and other specialties
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor conferences and departmental quality-improvement activities
  • Educate and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and surgical settings
  • Participate in departmental call coverage and other assigned clinical responsibilities
  • Support scholarly activity through clinical research, presentations, publications, and other academic contributions
  • Participate in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
  • Successful completion of fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology
  • Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
  • Fellowship-trained Head and Neck Surgeon
  • Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
