About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build a successful academic career while contributing to the discipline, department, and College of Medicine
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered clinical care
- Perform 90% clinical activity and 10% academic activity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address children’s healthcare needs in Arkansas
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Teach, mentor, and contribute to educational programs within the College of Medicine
- Participate in research, presentations, or quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD, PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent required
- Successful completion in pediatric residency program
- Focused training in Pediatric Cardiology
- Arkansas medical licensure
- Board eligible or board certification in pediatrics
- Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Subject to pre-employment screening, including criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification
