About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Early Childhood Development Specialist in providing daily care for children from birth through age five with special medical needs and developmental delays
- Provide developmental support and interventions
- Support a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Promote growth and well-being for each child and their family
- Serve children with special healthcare needs in pediatric day healthcare clinics
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) months experience working in the care of children, unless substituted by additional education including CCOT, CDA, AA, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Must pass state abuse registry checks
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must submit to a TB skin test and required immunizations or provide proof of immunizations
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Required pre-employment screening: Adult Maltreatment, Child Maltreatment, Criminal Background Check, FBI Background Check, Sex Offender Registry
