About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality direct patient care for a group of young children, including serving mealtimes, assisting with feeding, diapering, and dressing
- Provide developmentally appropriate behavioral guidance within daily scheduled activities
- Follow the direction of the Early Childhood Development Specialist to provide individualized developmental services in assigned treatment rooms
- Deliver services in a child-centered, family-focused manner using evidence-based or best practices
- Establish exciting learning environments for young children
- Apply curriculum to address objectives in each child’s treatment plan
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months experience working in the care of children, unless substituted by additional education including CCOT, CDA, AA, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Must pass state abuse registry checks
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must submit to a TB skin test and required immunizations or provide proof of immunizations
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Required documents: Proof of Veteran Status, Resume, Unofficial/Official Transcript(s)
- Subject to pre-employment screening, including criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification
