About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee daily operations of the UAMS Health Benton/Bryant clinic
- Manage staffing, recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, workload coordination, and coverage
- Develop and manage the nursing department budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies to improve the patient experience
- Promote professional growth, mentoring, performance evaluations, and career advancement
- Implement organizational vision, mission, values, evidence-based practices, and nursing support standards
- Establish quality metrics, measure performance, monitor patient outcomes, and implement quality improvements
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Residency Director, providers, physicians, leadership, and other departments
- Ensure nursing practices comply with UAMS, regulatory, insurance, government, and internal requirements
- Serve as liaison between the nursing department and organizational stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree
- Five (5) or more years of clinical experience in the field of Nursing
- At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership capacity
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas
- Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
- Ambulatory clinic experience (preferred)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Degree (preferred)
- National Nursing Certification (preferred)
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- License or Certificate, list of three professional references, and resume required for application
- Annual TB screening, criminal background check, and substance abuse testing
- Sedentary work and ability to perform required physical activities, including standing, walking, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, keyboarding, and talking
