About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation
  • Operate CT equipment
  • Handle and transport patients
  • Perform venipuncture
  • Post-process images
  • Work with electronic medical records
  • Communicate with physicians and other services
  • Participate in call and holiday coverage
  • Execute imaging exams and manage exam data
  • Document contrast administrations and line placement/removal
  • Verify images are available for dictation
  • Coordinate patient preparation and scans
  • Communicate with patients and physicians about exam information and results
  • May assist in managing staff scheduling
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS diploma/GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program
  • New graduate or less than one (1) year of experience
  • Registry eligible - or registered - by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • ART license must be obtained prior to start date
  • CT Advanced Certification obtained within 12 months of hire
  • Ability to follow oral instructions, read, and write
  • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
  • Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including lifting, standing, walking, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, repetitive motion, and handling sharps
