Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Interventional Pain Clinic

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce radiographic images for medical interpretation
- Interact with healthcare staff, clerical staff, patient care departments, patients’ families, and visitors
- Perform correct radiologic exams and produce high-quality images while supervising others
- Operate and position radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images according to exam specifications and radiologic requirements
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, provide verbal instructions, and assist with positioning
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure patient care, safety, and comfort
- Provide backup for clinical team members by controlling patient flow and triaging
- Maintain radiologic equipment, report malfunctions, and schedule regular maintenance
- Review patient records and import external images into PACS
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates - Graduate of an approved Radiology program
- Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Motor Vehicle Reports Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
- Resume
- Proof of Veteran Status
