About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support IT Patient Systems, primarily Cadence
- Supervise and participate in system build, testing, implementation support, and maintenance of assigned Epic applications
- Ensure service level agreements and deadlines are met
- Communicate team performance to upper management and provide feedback on team member evaluations
- Perform in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, data collection, and root cause analysis
- Analyze, review, and test product releases and communicate required operational changes
- Document, follow, and enforce system change control procedures
- Coordinate analysts, system vendors, and operations to maintain system integrity and meet business needs
- Research, analyze, facilitate, and implement business and system workflows for process improvement
- Identify best practices and implement standardization opportunities
- Prepare activity and other reports
- Attain necessary certifications according to policy
- Provide on-call application support
- Provide procedural and technical guidance and supervision to team members
- Configure, maintain, test, and enhance applications and systems
- Partner with users and stakeholders to define workflows and translate requirements into system solutions
- Lead and support implementations, upgrades, testing, and IT projects
- Maintain documentation, reports, testing plans, training materials, audit trails, and business continuity procedures
- Collaborate with leadership on project costs, estimates, budgets, and cost-effective technology solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry, regulatory, and organizational requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or a related field plus four (4) years of IT experience or clinical experience, or any combination of the two, including one (1) year managing processes and/or applications
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus six (6) years of IT experience or clinical experience, or any combination of the two, including one (1) year managing processes and/or applications
- Associate degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus eight (8) years of IT experience or clinical experience, or any combination of the two, including one (1) year managing processes and/or applications
- High School diploma/GED plus ten (10) years of IT experience or clinical experience, or any combination of the two, including one (1) year managing processes and/or applications required
- Epic Cadence Certification
- Prelude Certification is preferred
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening and Criminal Background Check
