About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee day-to-day blood draw and testing operations of the UAMS Health Family Medicine Center in Fort Smith

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory Technician from a regionally accredited school or program that is recognized by ASCP
  • At least six (6) months of phlebotomy experience
  • Eligible to become certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP or equivalent national organization
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
  • Phlebotomy Certification, ASCP, AMT, and/or National Certification as a MLT (ASCP, AMT or equivalent) preferred
