Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform standard laboratory procedures using independent judgment and responsibility with minimum technical supervision
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and records
  • Perform QC and QA related to test performances
  • Perform a broad range of laboratory procedures in hematology
  • Understand the roles and relationships among health care practitioners
  • Perform at a quality and productivity level commensurate with experience
  • Complete assigned special projects and/or administrative duties
  • As Lead Technologist, perform specific administrative duties and additional special tasks and/or projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Chemistry, or Biology
  • ASCP Certification (or equivalent)
  • 2 years or more Clinical Lab Experience
  • Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
  • Ability to perform standard laboratory procedures requiring independent judgment and responsibility with minimum technical supervision
  • Ability to maintain equipment and records and perform QC and QA related to test performances
  • Ability to perform a broad range of laboratory procedures in hematology
  • Ability to understand the roles and relationships among health care practitioners
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull 25 lbs
