About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct patient care and treat patients of all ages
  • Monitor the care and progress of patients
  • Work as a member of an interdisciplinary outpatient therapy clinical team
  • Work closely with the supervising physical therapist to implement therapeutic plans
  • Provide daily mobility and balance treatments
  • Prepare and operate physical therapy equipment, including sanitizing, sterilizing and/or disinfecting equipment
  • Document daily treatments and observations in patient progress notes
  • Prepare monthly patient performance summaries related to program goals and objectives and submit them to the physical therapist

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in Applied Science in PT
  • One (1) year of PTA experience or new grad with clinical experience in an outpatient setting
  • Licensed by the Arkansas State Medical Board as a PTA, or eligible to apply and obtain a license within 30-days of hire
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate to clinic staff, physicians, and the public
  • Must possess good hand-eye coordination and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong background in treatment of neurologic disorders, LSVT or PWR certified (preferred)
  • Two (2) years of PTA experience (preferred)
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Adult Maltreatment, Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check
  • License or Certificate and Resume required for application
