About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide professional nursing care to patients receiving services within the Electrophysiology (EP) Clinic
- Perform clinical assessment and patient triage
- Coordinate care, referrals, diagnostic testing, procedural planning, follow-up, and transitions between inpatient and outpatient care
- Respond to medication-related inquiries
- Manage cardiac implantable electronic devices and remote monitoring
- Educate patients and families about disease processes, medications, procedures, treatment plans, and self-management strategies
- Contribute to individualized plans of care
- Collect and document assessment data
- Develop and evaluate patients' Plans of Care
- Administer medication according to department standards and the Nurse Practice Act
- Verify and evaluate care for consistency with patient- and family-centered care principles, practice standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support integration of current evidence into nursing practices
- Promote an environment conducive to positive educational experiences
- Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
- Collaborate and communicate with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and stakeholders
- Document care in the medical record
- Report variances in care, systems, and processes
- Participate in staff recruitment and retention
- Facilitate evidence-based nursing practice standards compliant with ANA standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
- Valid RN License
- Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience
- Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
- Required documents: License or Certificate, list of three Professional References, and Resume
